At BOLD, I'm the Queen 'o Databases, as the only female software programmer. My work usually makes use of my knowledge in PHP, Drupal, SQL Server, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, Visual Basic, .NET, ASP and whatever else I need to learn. My degree in the business/education/computers arena actually led me into teaching continuing education and then event management for a banking association. But in '99, my logic skills drew me toward learning to write code on my own time because it was needed where I worked and I was willing. I really developed a taste for coding, ended up at Sprint and then not at Sprint just like thousands of others in KC, and then arrived here at BOLD - armed with a chorus line of tech manuals on my desk and a teacher's patience to help me work technical miracles.

When not wearing my Queen 'o Database crown, I try to keep up with my four kids [three kids and a husband], sew, and sing in the church choir and at weddings.
