I am a web monkey -- basically, I do a little bit of everything. Mostly I'm a web designer making web pages with HTML and CSS, editing images in Photoshop, or constructing and sending email campaigns. Other times, I'm creating Flash movies, mucking around with Javascript, PHP, and Drupal, or just learning about new technologies. Occasionally, I crack a joke or make a cup of coffee for myself. I've got the mad skillz.

While studying for my bachelor's degree in history, I temporarily majored in art and design, and creative writing. Back in 1997, this was a perfectly good background for a career in web design and development - and so it began. This, as well as some graduate work in journalism, gives me a unique perspective when it comes to creating web sites. Not only am I technical, but I am visually creative, and I love languages, be it plain old English, or something weird like PHP. I enjoy, copy editing and poetry.  Re-writing old, messed up code is actually a guilty pleasure. Yes, I'm weird.  

When I'm not at work making your web sites better, I'm hoping for nice weather so I can go mountain biking, or I'm working with a local theater troupe, or just writing for fun. Here's my latest:
